One of my greatest sadnesses in my life is that I did not do my own work early enough so that my own daughter, Sydney, felt safe and beloved in her journey to discovering herself.
This very special and very important course is a roadmap for all the moms and dads and parents and guardians of LGBTQIA+ tweens and teens.
It’s for those reexamining what they’ve always been taught in the church, for those asking new questions, for allies and friends, for pastors and faith leaders, and more. But it’s really for our kids, our next generation, because the positive change starts here. With all of us.

We’re chatting with Isaac Archuleta, the founder and CEO of iAmClinic — a counseling practice for LGBTQIA+ individuals and couples, as well as their religious loved ones. Their primary goal is to help the LGBTQIA+ community and their families establish internal solidarity, rooted identities, and long-term relational health.
We have the pleasure of speaking with Sara Cunningham, an author, activist, and founder of the non-profit organization Free Mom Hugs. Her journey is a surprising one that began in conservative Oklahoma, when her son, Parker, came out as gay. As a woman of faith, Sara wrestled with the news until she began to study, research, and reconcile the two worlds.
