We can discover the heart of a God who’s not in the business of “smiting” us, but loving us.
It is possible — very possible — to live our your faith in non-traditional spaces with non-tradtional people.
Faith can be a polarizing topic in our culture today, especially in this era where your religious beliefs might be mixed up with your political views, moral compass, and perspective on others who believe differently than you.
It's a new day, friends. Turns out, it is possible to live out your faith in fresh, possibly nontraditional ways.

Session 1
You Are Welcome Here
My own faith journey and process of deconstruction and reconstruction is not without lots of mess, debris, and rubble. But what has been rebuilt I would never exchange for
anything.
The mess and all that wrestling with faith became beautiful — and I’m here to tell you that it can for you, too.
SESSION RESOURCE:
- Faith Reflection Worksheet
Session 2
PROCESSING THE BIBLE
A big question that comes up in
deconstruction is this: What do we do with the Bible?
SESSION RESOURCES:
- Bible Deconstruction Worksheet
Session 3
PRINCIPLES FOR AN EVOLVING FAITH
The process of deconstruction and reconstruction is a normal and healthy part of spiritual formation and development.
The wilderness is an invitation from God into deeper love and grace; you literally end up here because you are faithful. But there can still be stigma and fear attached to this process.
SESSION RESOURCE:
- Deconstruction Reflection with Sarah Bessey
- Resources for Evolving Faith
- Sarah's Benediction
Session 4

It is transformative, so be prepared to be transformed. Also, be prepared to handle loss. We are here for you in this journey.
